International sea and air import operation process
Order acceptance: the process before the imported goods arrive at the port is the same as the export operation process
Collect information: Upon receipt of notification from our overseas company, prepare information and arrange customs clearance immediately. Or the import goods notification from the customer's overseas office, contact the local freight forwarder to ask for relevant information and materials, and deliver THC (service fee at the port of destination) on behalf of the customer
Obtaining a license: Due to the fact that the Cambodian government grants factories duty-free import of raw materials, it is necessary to apply for an import license to the customs before the goods are imported. Imports can only be allowed after customs review. If import tax is paid, no license is required, but more cumbersome operations such as customs valuation are required
Customs clearance: collect the local freight forwarding bill of lading, THC, customs import license, factory authorization and other information and send it to Phnom Penh Port/Phnom Penh Airport/Westport to arrange customs clearance
Delivery: Ask the factory for the address of the bulk or whole container to be delivered to the factory or its branch or the address of the foundry, and arrange the delivery to the customer's desired destination on time.
Return of empty containers: The factory must sign for and unload the goods within 24 hours to avoid additional container rental fees for long-term use of the containers. The driver will then return the empty containers to the shipping company's designated location, and the bulk cargo must be unloaded within 3 hours.
